A photo exhibition dedicated to the summer camp has opened in Izmaylovsky Park. Youth of Moscow“, which took place at the Moskino film park, subordinate to the capital The Department of Culture.
The exhibition is displayed on open stands and consists of 18 photographs, which serve as a visual guide to the events of the past summer. Each picture is accompanied by a quote. “The exhibition is not just a summary, but an opportunity to see the camp through the eyes of the participants themselves. We wanted any visitor to the park to be able to recharge with the energy of the capital’s youth and be inspired by their stories even after the season ended,” noted Margarita Savinkina, head of the “Youth of Moscow” project.

The exhibition tells about the main formats of the camp program: sports tracks, master classes, cultural events such as concerts, as well as stories of the shift participants. The photographs captured not only key events but also the sincere emotions of the children, the atmosphere of friendship and creative exploration.
In the summer, the MosKino Film Park hosted 12 thematic sessions for young people aged 18 to 35 in various fields — from volunteering and leadership to creativity and patriotic education. Participants from Moscow, other regions, and abroad met with experts, well-known figures in sports and culture, attended lectures and practical classes, and also took part in large-scale cultural and sports events. The main goal of each session was to help young people find their calling, build a team, and develop skills.
Talents, friendship, and new horizons
Daniel Zhumakanov, a master’s student at the Institute of Contemporary Art, bronze medalist of “New Wave — 2025,” and singer-songwriter, shared his impressions of the summer session. He visited the camp last summer and winter, so he approached this year’s vocal session consciously: with experience behind him, Daniel aimed to pass on knowledge to his team.
The young man named collaborative creativity as his warmest memory of the camp. His mentor organized a genuine creative flow for his team, and during one session the team wrote several songs.
According to Danial, the main practical benefit of participating in the camp is the opportunity to apply skills again, grow professionally, and work as a team. He also noted the meeting with invited experts and the acting class, which gave him new creative insights.
Another participant in the session is Yulia Bukreeva, a third-year student at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, a future specialist in information security and business analyst. Despite her technical major, she has been passionate about choreography since childhood, and it was exactly this attraction to art that led her to the dance session of the summer camp. There, she mastered various styles and worked with leading dancers and choreographers.
Yulia Bukreeva noted that what she liked the most was working with the mentor. Each training session was filled with new ideas and meanings, everything took place in an atmosphere of a friendly team. In addition, she attended many lectures and master classes by famous people.
The exhibition also features the story of Sheksid Antuanet Orihuela Arias, a student at the Moscow Aviation Institute from Peru. The young woman said that she joined the Unity shift to practice the Russian language, immerse herself in Russian culture, and explore the country’s opportunities for young professionals. She was interested not only in participating in the events but also in communicating with other participants, learning about their experiences, and gaining a better understanding of the prospects for development, education, and implementing ideas.
Marina Garbuz, a student of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, and a future specialist in legal support of national security, visited the camp for the first time last summer during a session dedicated to cinema. It was there that she found a team of friends with whom she continues to implement joint projects. When the opportunity arose to attend the career session of the 2026 season, she suggested that they explore a new direction.
“During the shift, I especially remember the anti-lecture, which confirmed that it is important not only to perceive others but also to listen to yourself and your condition more often. The speakers’ materials successfully combined both entertaining parts and practical things: about the labor market, in-demand competencies, job search tools, and how to properly compose a resume according to modern employer standards. Simultaneously, there was a sports block where we learned the basics of first aid, safety rules, and also how to correctly distribute roles within a team and participated in interactive activities,” Marina said.
“Opportunities for Youth 3.0” is a modern ecosystem of measures aimed at creating conditions for the self-realization of young people. It allows participation in the development of advanced solutions, trying one’s hand at scientific activities, the field of international cooperation, and public service.
