On October 1, 2026, training will begin in the MOEX Start accelerator under the Moscow Exchange program for companies preparing for private placement or pre-IPO.
The accelerator program combines training, mentoring, and practical work on a future deal. Participants, together with market experts, will work out the financial model, valuation, and corporate governance issues, form an investment thesis and a set of necessary materials. Mentors experienced in structuring deals in the private equity market will assist in studying each stage of accessing an off-exchange deal. At the end of the program, participants will have the opportunity to present their case to major institutional investors and brokers.
Vladimir Ovcharov, Managing Director of the Stock Market at the Moscow Exchange:
“The task of the Moscow Exchange is to create conditions for new names to appear on our markets. Therefore, we are launching the MOEX Start accelerator – a program that will allow teams of future issuers to prepare for a private placement or pre-IPO deal and start preparing the company for listing on organized trading. Thus, participants will have the opportunity to work through all the difficult points even before the actual placement and approach the deal with a clear action plan.”
The MOEX Start accelerator program can be completed for free through a preliminary selection process. Companies with an annual revenue of at least 500 million rubles, which have achieved operational break-even and have experience in attracting external financing, are invited to participate.
You can apply to participate until September 25 through the form on on the website. The duration of the course is eight weeks. Training is conducted in both in-person and online formats.
On November 25, after the course ends, a demo day will take place at the Moscow Exchange with presentations of participants’ projects to investment funds.
The partners of the MOEX Start accelerator are the Skolkovo Technopark and the Moscow Venture Fund.
More about the program and participation conditions – on the accelerator’s website.
The MOEX Start platform was created by the Moscow Exchange in 2024 and provides Russian non-public companies with the opportunity to raise capital for their development by placing shares through a closed subscription based on the infrastructure of the National Clearing Center (part of the Moscow Exchange Group). The service is available to all participants in the Moscow Exchange clearing on the stock market and their clients.
