Moscow, April 14 /Xin Hua/ — Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in a telephone conversation with the head of the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence Abbas Araghchi on April 13, confirmed Russia’s readiness to assist in resolving the crisis around Iran. This was reported by Russian media with reference to a message published on the Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In a telephone conversation, S. Lavrov also welcomed Iran’s conciliatory mood towards continuing diplomatic efforts and seeking solutions, emphasizing the importance of preventing a recurrence of armed confrontation in the region.
