Resident special economic zone The (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow” has begun producing interactive all-in-one computers equipped with a domestic liquid crystal module. The devices combine a computing unit and a touch screen, and also support contactless control using artificial intelligence. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. Maxim Liksutov.
“By the order of Sergey Sobyanin, the city systematically supports high-tech enterprises to enhance industrial potential and bring innovative solutions to the market. A resident of the capital’s special economic zone has begun producing next-generation interactive all-in-one computers with liquid crystal modules manufactured in Russia. Such a device combines a powerful computing unit and a touchscreen in one case, simplifying the digitalization of production processes at enterprises. Additionally, the all-in-one can be adapted for contactless control using artificial intelligence algorithms. This expands the scenarios for its use and makes working with the device more convenient for employees,” noted Maxim Liksutov.
The development is designed for offices, educational and medical institutions, industrial enterprises, government agencies, and critical information infrastructure facilities. With the all-in-one computer, it is possible to visualize production data, conduct monitoring and information analysis, interact with digital and three-dimensional models, and also train personnel directly at the workplace. The devices support optional contactless scenarios. This makes working with the all-in-one computers even more intuitive and convenient.

The CEO of NexTouch, Vladimir Krikushenko, noted that the launch of mass production of liquid crystal modules domestically changes the market structure. Local manufacturing ensures stable supplies of this critically important component for a wide range of industries. Previously, such modules were entirely imported from abroad, and domestic producers depended on external supplies and price fluctuations. Having their own production reduces costs and delivery times, decreases import dependency, and enables more active use of Russian developments.
Earlier, Sergey Sobyanin spoke about unique developments capital city enterprises. Among them are a high-tech quantum sensor and a mini shuttle for space research, a small satellite for remote Earth sensing, a plasma propulsion system for satellites, a neural network accelerator for robots and smart city systems, as well as high-speed equipment for 5G networks and many others.
The special economic zone “Technopolis Moscow” will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has transformed from a launchpad for innovative projects into a key hub of domestic industry and a popular location among companies defining Russia’s technological sovereignty. Today, on 10 sites of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ totaling 430 hectares, production from more than 240 high-tech enterprises is localized, representing strategic directions such as microelectronics, instrument engineering, biomedicine, IT, and robotics.
