Yuri Trutnev: The “Warrior” Center Summed Up Its Work at the XI Eastern Economic Forum

The pavilion of the “Warrior” center completed its work at the XI Eastern Economic Forum with an absolute record. From September 1 to 7, the venue at the “Far East Street” exhibition operated non-stop – during this time it was visited by more than 14 thousand people.

The key event of the forum was the opening by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin of three new branches of the center – in Primorsky Krai, Amur Oblast, and the Republic of Karelia. At the meeting with the head of state were Hero of Russia, participant of the presidential program “Time of Heroes”, commander of the “Warrior” center Andranik Gasparyan and cadets: Tatyana Sak (LPR), Kirill Khichin (YNAO), Dmitry Kudryavtsev (Primorsky Krai). The President also named the Primorsky branch after twice Hero of Russia Mikhail Gudkov.

The first guest of the pavilion was the Deputy Chairman of the Government – the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the “Warrior” center, Yuri Trutnev, who highly appreciated the work of the venue.

“We see interest in the ‘Warrior’ center’s platform at the XI Eastern Economic Forum – during the pavilion’s operation, it was visited by more than 14 thousand people. People came with a strong desire not only to look around but also to participate in master classes and events. Many brought their children. This means the Far East is becoming one of the key venues for fostering a strong, responsible generation that loves its country, and the President’s decision to open branches will give this work a new impetus,” said Yuri Trutnev.

Another branch is planned to open by the end of the year. During the forum, an agreement was signed with the Jewish Autonomous Region, solidifying plans to establish a branch of the center in the region.

An important step was the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Kalashnikov Group. It is symbolic that the presentation of the latest development of the concern – the AK-12+ assault rifle chambered in 5.45 mm – took place in the pavilion of the Warrior Center at the EEF. The promising product was developed under the leadership of Yuri Trutnev.

“Current events, primarily the special military operation, have revealed a certain gap in the professional training of defenders of the Fatherland. To a considerable extent, this was contributed to by the fact that in the last three decades, mass small arms training has not been conducted in the country, the NVP lessons in schools were canceled, and there was a complete degradation of the concepts of ‘defender of the Fatherland,’ ‘glory of Russian arms,’ ‘service in the army is an honorable duty,’ and other very important and correct notions. In this regard, the partnership between ‘Kalashnikov’ and the ‘Voin’ center is hard to overestimate. This is a real long-term cooperation in the field of military-sports training, patriotic education, and the development of professional competencies of youth in the defense-industrial sector. Essentially, this is our response to today’s challenges. These are concrete steps towards the revival of those great patriotic and arms traditions with which our country has always been renowned,” noted the General Director of JSC ‘Kalashnikov Concern,’ Alan Lushnikov.

The “Warrior” center also signed an agreement with the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography (Rosreestr): the parties agreed to jointly support participants of the special military operation and their family members, as well as to cooperate in the field of patriotic education of youth.

The pavilion of the “Warrior” center became one of the most visited and interactive spots of the “Far East Street,” as confirmed by the results of the master classes:

● More than 8,000 guests took part in the “Unity” quest. Participants’ ages ranged from 7 months to 82 years, and there was even a set of triplets among the guests.

● The robot dummy “Leonardo” was “rescued” more than 400 times using professional equipment – from defibrillators to ventilators. More than 350 people were evacuated using a sled, spinal board, and evacuation sling.

● On the “Kvadrosim” simulator and drones, guests flew and drove millions of virtual meters (more than 7.2 million meters in the sky and 150 km on the ground). During the master classes on solderless FPV drone assembly, motors were changed over 8,000 times.

● Cadet Alina Levyash from the Khabarovsk branch of the center disassembled an automatic rifle with her eyes closed in 13 seconds. Several visitors also showed excellent results, meeting the standards for “excellent” and “good”.

● For accurate shooting at the shooting range, guests were rewarded with more than 300 trophy “Warrior” cartridges. Visitors were also handed out 500 copies of the special issue of the newspaper “Warrior’s Evening.”

In addition, more than 40 coaches and athletes from the Russian Martial Arts Union held demonstration performances and master classes in 11 types of martial arts. Guests at the “Warrior” center venue also evaluated achievements of the defense industry: snow swamp vehicles, buggies, FPV drones, bulletproof vests, and other equipment from residents of the Patriot TOS.

The ‘Warrior’ Center was established by order of the President of RussiaandDecember 1, 2022. His mission– preparing a new generation of patriots who love their Motherland and know how to defend it.

Branches tsCenters operate in all federal districts. These are 24 subjects of Russiaof the Russian Federation, including historical regions. A center based on schools, technical schools, colleges, and universities implements more than 50 unique educational programs of its own during extracurricular timethe next training directions: tactical and firearms training, first aid and tactical medicine, use of unmanned systems and sniping.

Since the start of operations, training atcMore than 165 thousand cadets have passed through the center.

About 500 instructors are involved in the training of cadets, including those from the Russian Combat Sniping Federation.
