For the youth of Moscow, classes on personal effectiveness and cybersecurity will be held

A series of in-person lectures will be held for young city residents as part of the academy “Youth of Moscow Experts will talk about personal effectiveness, cybersecurity, productive communication, and financial literacy.

“We developed the program so that each participant would receive not just theory, but ready-made tools that can be applied here and now. Personal efficiency, cybersecurity, and communication are the pillars on which the successful and confident life of a modern young person in a metropolis is built. We look forward to seeing everyone at the in-person classes at the academy,” noted Margarita Savinkina, head of the ‘Youth of Moscow’ project.

The meetings will take place in the multimodal space “Youth of Moscow” at the address: Kholodilny Lane, building 3, block 1, structure 8. Everyone aged 14 to 35 is welcome to join them. To participate, you need to register on the portal “Youth of Moscow”.

From personal effectiveness to financial literacy

The lectures will consist of several blocks. The first one is “Personal Effectiveness.” Participants will learn techniques to combat procrastination, manage energy, and set realistic goals to balance study, work, and rest without burnout. For example, on September 15, Nadezhda Brusnitsyna, an expert in strategic management and the launch of innovative projects, will give a lecture “Balancing study, work, and rest: how not to burn out”. Participants will be told about useful habits that help to stay productive throughout the day. In addition, on September 22, young people will learn how to formulate feedback on lectures “Understanding Each Other: Active Listening and Empathy Skills”.

The lecture series for the “Cybersecurity” block will take place on September 29, October 6, and 13. The expert will teach data protection, recognizing fraudulent schemes, and setting up privacy on the internet.

In the “Effective Communication” module, participants will learn how to structure their thoughts, give feedback without conflicts, influence opponents, and win negotiations. The lectures will be conducted by business communication expert Viktor Albrecht. On October 20, there will be a session on “How to Build Ideas So They Don’t Collapse.” On October 27, a lecture titled “How to Get Your Way When You’re Not the Boss” will take place, discussing the art of informal agreements. The module will conclude with a session on November 2 entitled “The Art of Negotiation: How to Win Negotiation Battles.”

On November 10, everyone is invited to the first lecture of the “Financial Literacy” block. Investor Relations Director Igor Fainman will conduct a practical session titled “Money and Personal Budget,” where he will teach attendees how to properly allocate their finances. The lecture “Debts and Loans in Plain Language” is scheduled for November 17, and on November 24, the session “Career and Choosing a Profession” will help attendees decide on a profession considering the balance of interests and demand.

Registration for classes will open later in the ‘Events Poster’ section or in the ‘Directions’ tab in the ‘Development’ section on the portal “Youth of Moscow”.
