Shanghai, September 10 /Xinhua/ — The 2026 China Business Report, prepared based on a survey of American companies and published Thursday by the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai /AmCham Shanghai/, indicates a sharp increase in business confidence among the Chamber’s member companies operating in China.

According to the report, business confidence has risen significantly – 58 percent of respondents view the prospects for business development in China over the next five years with optimism, which is 17 percentage points higher than last year.
