As part of participating in the ceremonial opening of the All-Russian professional skills competition “Best Truck Driver,” held in Naberezhnye Chelny, KAMAZ was visited by a delegation of representatives from the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, headed by the Director of the Department of State Policy in the field of road and urban passenger transport, Andrey Yenin.
The delegation also includes Oleg Tolstukhin, Deputy General Director of FSBI “Rosavtotrans,” and Valery Mashkov, General Director of JSC “Scientific Research Institute of Automobile Transport.”
During the visit, the group toured the main production facilities of the leading Russian engineering corporation. At JSC “KAMA DIESEL,” guests were introduced to the production of inline six-cylinder KAMAZ engines, and at LLC “CF KAMA,” to the production of gearboxes. In addition, delegation members visited the company’s most modern plant with a high degree of automation – the Cabin Frame Plant. At KAMAZ’s final production stage – the Automobile Plant – guests were shown the cabin assembly line and the main assembly line. At the Scientific and Technical Center site, an exhibition of high-tech automotive equipment was organized, showcasing the company’s extensive manufacturing capabilities. The visit concluded at the KAMAZ Visitor Center, where guests were told about the history of the automotive giant and its modern achievements.
