Nanchang, September 8 /Xinhua/ — The deaths of six people have been confirmed, and nine others are reported missing as a result of a series of mudslides and landslides that struck Suichuan County in Jiangxi Province (East China) on Saturday.

According to local officials, as of noon on Tuesday, 5 people have died and 7 are missing in the village of Minken in Gaoping township due to a mudslide and landslide that occurred on Saturday.
