Capital city entrepreneurs continue to support the fighters of the special military operation (SMO). They constantly contact representatives of charitable foundations to find out what exactly the soldiers need right now.
Some of the most active participants in the volunteer movement are small business owners. Most of them are participants in the “Moscow Seasons”. As part of the “Summer in Moscow” project, their delicious dishes and vintage finds were sold at the festival venues.
Thanks to the fact that the city provides trade pavilions for free, entrepreneurs can invest even more funds in supporting military personnel.
From bandages to warm clothes
Natalya treats Muscovites and tourists to sweet waffles with ice cream and fruits, as well as pockets filled with braised beef, mozzarella, and pesto sauce on Tverskaya and Manezhnaya squares, as well as on Grekov and Sukhonskaya streets.
She has been helping the fighters for a long time — the sons of her close friends went to the front during the mobilization. Natalia stays in touch with them and acquires everything necessary.
“We always do what we can. There are guys who need medical supplies — something very simple, like bandages or medicine. We buy this not for one soldier personally, but for the whole unit, so that everyone feels cared for,” Natalia shared.
Among other parcels were long-lasting food products and packs of tea. The businesswoman also sent warm clothes—socks and scarves, and her acquaintances even sent a “Niva” car to the fighters.
Assistance with transportation
As part of the “Summer in Moscow” project, unique souvenir products brought by Inna could be found at the vintage market venues. She also helps volunteers transport trench candles and handwoven camouflage nets. The entrepreneur has long been a mediator between caring people, helping them find each other.
“We take everything that the residents of our district make with their own hands, and we also often cooperate with churches. Then we deliver all the humanitarian aid to volunteers who send it directly to the combat zone,” noted Inna.
Support through charitable foundations
In the trading pavilions of restaurateur Tei in Kurkino, Zelenograd, and Nekrasovka, hearty snacks are sold. From the first days of the special military operation, a regular participant of the “Moscow Seasons” has been helping the soldiers. Throughout this time, the entrepreneur has not only transferred funds to volunteers but also provided food products.
“I collaborate with the charity project ‘Hugged Everyone’ — its team acquires everything needed by servicemen, from medical supplies to seasonal clothing. It is very important for me to understand that the aid reaches the recipients,” Teya said.
“Summer in Moscow” — the main event of the season, which has become a good tradition and an integral part of the life of the capital. The main theme of this year was “Time to be together.” The project united people of different generations around common values, allowing them to become closer not only to their relatives but also to the entire city during walks, cultural and sports events, charitable actions, as well as right next to home in all districts of the capital.
