Beijing, April 13 /Xinhua/ — China is ready to continue playing a constructive role, contributing to the restoration of peace and stability in the Persian Gulf region. This was stated on Monday by the Premier of the State Council of the PRC, Li Qian.
Li Qian made a corresponding statement during talks with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi / United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, indicating that from the beginning of hostilities in Iran, China has maintained close communication with all involved parties and actively seeks to contribute to the establishment of peace and the cessation of war.
The head of the Chinese government expressed hope that the OAS will continue to take energetic measures to ensure the safety of Chinese citizens, institutions, and projects on its territory. –0–
