Moscow, April 13 /Sina/ — Russia, in coordination with Iran, has begun the final rotation at the Iranian nuclear power plant (NPP) “Bushehr.” 108 Russian employees are leaving the NPP, with 20 people remaining at the facility. This was stated to journalists on Monday by the general director of the Russian state corporation “Rosatom,” Alexey Likhachev.

“Today at 08:00 we started the final rotation at the ‘Busher’ station. 108 people are now moving toward Isfahan, everything is going according to plan. 20 people remained at the station: the head of our branch, his deputies, representatives of the security block, and engineering staff responsible for equipment safety and supervising, again, to ensure the inviolability of our settlement,” A. Lilachev reported.

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin was reported about the rotation, he noted.

“This position has been agreed with Iranian partners. Yesterday it was reported to the President of the Russian Federation, and today, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, we are implementing this project,” explained A. Lytvynchev.

He clarified that the 20 Russians remaining at the station are the final representation of Rosatom. “Aside from equipment maintenance and supervision of the town, they will continue to stay in contact with the customer, with the representative of the Iranian customer, so that at the slightest first opportunity, the construction can be expanded as broadly as possible,” added the head of Rosatom. –0–
