Washington, April 13 /Xinhua/ — American military forces are establishing a naval blockade that will cover part of the waters of the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea to the east of the Strait of Hormuz, starting at 14:00 Greenwich Mean Time. This was reported by the Reuters news agency, citing a notice for maritime carriers issued by the United States Central Command.
“Any vessel entering the blockade zone or leaving it without permission shall be subject to inspection, redirection, and detention,” the notification states.
