Owners of shops and public catering establishments in the Eastern Administrative District have collected the largest amount of food humanitarian aid for fighters of the special military operation (SMO) since the beginning of winter 2025.
The packages included long shelf-life products, such as canned stewed meat, canned peas, corn, peaches, and pineapples, cod liver, as well as cereals, groceries, and sweets. Additionally, the entrepreneurs provided goods that are more difficult to transport: chicken meat, sausage, pastries, fresh fruits, and vegetables.
Humanitarian kits were supplemented with drinks, including tea and coffee, as well as disposable tableware and cutlery necessary for military personnel in the field.

Food aid for the servicemen was delivered by employees of shopping centers from the Sokolniki and Bogorodskoye districts.
In Golyanovo, five cafes and a doner shop, two bakeries, five grocery stores, and a clothing store joined the collection. The initiative was also supported by nine more entrepreneurs from Izmailovo and the owner of a fixed-price store in the Preobrazhenskoye district.
Together, they prepared a diverse assortment of products. In total, the entrepreneurs collected more than 500 packages of canned goods and 100 kilograms of confectionery.
The owners of another cafe in Golyanovo separately prepared sweet gifts for the servicemen for the New Year.
In Metrogorodok, supermarket employees sent food packages. A coffee shop and a restaurant in the Novogireevo and Preobrazhenskoye districts provided hot meals to soldiers undergoing rehabilitation at the P.V. Mandryk Central Military Clinical Hospital.
More than four thousand dry rations, collected by five shopping centers in Novokosino, were also handed over to the servicemen.
Employees of grocery stores in the districts of Severnoye Izmaylovo and Sokolinnaya Gora prepared more than 500 jars of vegetable, meat, fish, and fruit preserves, hundreds of kilograms of sweets, marshmallows, and chocolate, as well as tea and coffee. In addition to food, the shipment included dishwashing detergent and wet wipes.
From the very first days of the Special Military Operation, owners of shops, shopping centers, car dealerships, service enterprises, and catering establishments in the capital have been regularly collecting humanitarian aid. Such cargos include not only food sets but also personal hygiene products, medicines, and seasonal clothing, including jackets, boots, and thermal underwear. In addition, construction materials and military equipment, including quadcopters and vehicles, are sent to the fighters.
