Starting September 1, the use of electronic transport documents (ETDs) becomes mandatory in Russia for the transportation of goods. To assist entrepreneurs, the State Budgetary Institution “Small Business of Moscow” (SBM) has launched a special project “Logistics-2026: mandatory transition to EPD” with detailed explanations and the opportunity to receive prompt consultation from a specialist.
The project is aimed at all participants in logistics processes — from shippers and carriers to forwarders and consignees. Entrepreneurs will be explained which documents must be converted to electronic format and in which situations it is permissible to keep paper document flow. Within the framework of the initiative, businesses will be able to use a five-step checklist. It will help assess readiness for changes and avoid violations.
For example, the project will indicate which work formats are available to self-employed drivers in the new conditions. If necessary, MBM specialists will help choose the form of doing business and prepare documents for registration as an individual entrepreneur or by establishing a legal entity.
The special project platform hosts free tools for business development, including solutions developed by leading Russian providers. The result of participation will be a clear step-by-step algorithm for transitioning to electronic transportation documents. The special project is implemented with the support of the company “SKB Kontur” — the operator of the electronic transport documents information system (IS EPD), accredited The Ministry of Transport of Russia.
State Budgetary Institution “Small Business of Moscow”, subordinate to the capital Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development, helps people start and grow their businesses in the city.
