Haikou, April 13 /Xin Hua/ — The China International Consumer Products Expo /CICPE/ has become a vivid calling card of the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port, as well as an important platform for China and the world, allowing for the joint use of market opportunities. This was stated on Monday by Vice Premier of the State Council of the PRC He Lifeng.
He Lifeng, who is also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, made a corresponding statement while giving a speech at the opening ceremony of the 6th CICPE in the city of Haikou, the administrative center of Hainan Province in southern China.
As emphasized by the Vice Premier of the State Council, China will unwaveringly implement the strategy of expanding domestic demand, use scientific and technological innovations to stimulate industrial modernization, promote high-quality development and expand a high level of openness, consistently unlock market potential and consumer activity, in order to bring more certainty and new impetus to the growth of the world economy.
He Lifeng called on foreign enterprises to fully utilize platforms such as CICPE, continue to explore the Chinese market, and jointly benefit from the opportunities provided by China’s development.
