Alexander Novak spoke at the opening of the VIII Russian-Chinese Energy Business Forum
The purpose of the forum is to develop dialogue between Russia and China in the field of energy, improve efficiency and expand the portfolio of joint projects, attract investments.
“Our common task is to strengthen energy security, guarantee the stability of shipments, and increase infrastructure, technology, and investments. Russia is committed to the closest cooperation with Chinese friends in all areas – from traditional resources to new technological and climate solutions. The main thing that Russia offers the market along with resources is reliability. Even under external pressure, the Russian fuel and energy complex fully meets its obligations, playing a stabilizing role in the global energy market. I am confident that the business forum will allow for a detailed discussion of all related issues and determine the next steps,” noted the Deputy Prime Minister.
In conclusion of his speech, Alexander Novak invited Chinese colleagues to participate in the international forum “Russian Energy Week,” which will take place in October 2026 in Moscow.
