Tianjin, September 3 /Xinhua/ — A resident of Kazakhstan, Ramazan /pseudonym/, after visiting several hospitals in Kazakhstan and Turkey, brought his mother, who suffers from breast cancer, to China in search of a more effective treatment method.

This summer, this initiative has once again made itself known: having reached Kyrgyzstan for the first time and revisited Uzbekistan, it continues to expand its “circle of friends” in the healthcare sector.
“We hope that through screening activities, it will be possible to raise awareness among the local population about the importance of prevention and early detection of cancer, which will allow diagnosing the disease at early stages as soon as possible and improve the prognosis for patients,” said Yin Jian, Deputy Director of the Binhai Branch of Tianjin Cancer Hospital and Head of the Breast Reconstruction Department at Tianjin Cancer Hospital.
Cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of medicine between China and the SCO countries are becoming increasingly deep, covering the entire chain – from prevention, screening, and diagnosis to treatment and rehabilitation.
