At the end of August, the International Youth Forum “Russia United Us — 2026” was held in the Moscow region. The event was organized by the Association of Foreign Students of the Russian Federation with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The forum brought together foreign students from various universities across the country to foster international cooperation, exchange experiences, and get acquainted with Russian culture.
Polytech was represented at the forum by Quin An (Vietnam), Karin Bianca Mahlope (South Africa), Faizullakhuzhaeva Madinakhon Makhsudkhon kizi (Turkmenistan), Aya Saada (Algeria), and Petrosse Manisa (Mozambique).
The forum program included educational intensives, project sessions, team-building events, and excursions. Meetings with experts, training sessions on the development of student media and project work were organized for the participants. The excursion program, featuring visits to the Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces and the museum complex “Road of Memory. 1418 Steps to Victory” in the Patriot Park, made a special impression on the participants.
Polytech students actively took part in the forum’s activities. They participated in ice-breaking games, danced and sang around the evening campfire, and learned about traditional games of various peoples.
We really had a wonderful time. A friendship developed between us, which benefited us in many ways. I wish us many more such events, — shared Karin Bianca Mahlop.
Faizullakhuzhaeva Madinakhon highlighted the importance of making acquaintances and the warm atmosphere of the forum: Everything was very interesting and fun. First, there was a game for us to get to know each other in groups. Then — dancing and traditional games around the campfire. I also danced and sang; it was very pleasant because in my country we also played like this in childhood. What I liked most was meeting new people.
Participation in the forum “Russia United Us — 2026” became an important experience of international communication, professional development, and cultural enrichment for the Polytechnic students. The students returned with new ideas, projects, and most importantly, new friends from different parts of the world.
