An exhibition titled “Naive Muscovites” will be held at the Ilya Glazunov Gallery, dedicated to the artistic life of the capital in the second half of the 20th century and the early 21st century. The exhibition will include works from private collections, as well as from the funds of the Museum of Russian Lubok and Naive Art.
Visitors will see works by native Muscovites and authors for whom the capital has become a second homeland. The artists address everyday life, urban landscapes, home spaces, nature, and dacha culture.
The exhibition consists of four thematic sections: “Urban Ark,” “Memory of Place,” “Celebration of Everyday Life,” and “Dacha as Utopia.” Among the featured artists are Elena Goncharevich, Vladimir Anosov, Ekaterina Medvedeva, Alevtina Pyzhova, Olga Oks, Avgustina Tarasova, and Lyudmila Voronova.
