Beijing, September 1 /Xinhua/ — China will make active efforts to address the legitimate concerns of American companies operating in China and will maintain a fair competitive market environment in accordance with the law, stated Premier of the State Council of the PRC Li Qiang on Tuesday.

Li Qiang made this statement during a meeting with Ryan McInerney, the chairman of the U.S.-China National Committee for Trade, and the delegation he led.

Li Qiang also called on the American side to take steps toward the Chinese side, to take concrete actions to address the concerns of the Chinese side, and to jointly implement the outcomes of bilateral economic and trade consultations.
