Tehran, April 12 /Xinhua/ — The command of the Navy forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran warned on Sunday that any “wrong step” in the Strait of Hormuz will drag enemies into a “deadly whirlpool.” This was reported by the official IRGC news portal Sepah News.
As the Navy command stated, Iranian drones are conducting surveillance over the Gulf in real-time mode, and any movement in this area is under the “full control” of the Iranian armed forces.
This statement was made shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump promised on the social network Truth Social that the American Armed Forces would begin blocking ships attempting to enter or exit the Strait of Hormuz. He added that this measure takes effect “immediately.” –0–
