Since the beginning of 2026, educational state organizations in Moscow have concluded about 50 thousand contracts on the suppliers’ portal. Of these, 15 thousand were signed during the summer months — the period of preparation for the start of the academic year. This was reported by Maria Bagreeva, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Head of the Moscow Department of Economic Policy and Development.
“Capital educational institutions actively use the supplier portal to procure necessary goods, works, and services. Over eight months of this year, they concluded about 50 thousand contracts on the platform. Moreover, 15 thousand deals were made in June, July, and August — the months during which active preparation for the new academic year takes place. Most often, customers purchased educational services, construction and household goods, including household appliances, information technologies, as well as printing products and literature. Since the beginning of the year, 14 thousand contracts have been signed in these categories. During the summer months, services for current repairs also became popular categories,” said Maria Bagreeva.
Supplier Portal — is an interregional platform for small-volume procurement. It provides zero barriers to entry into government procurement for entrepreneurs from across the country. Currently, the number of suppliers on the resource exceeds 410 thousand.
“The most active regions that supplied products to metropolitan educational institutions this year were Moscow, Moscow Region, Saint Petersburg, as well as Vladimir and Samara regions. Together, they concluded more than 40 thousand deals — 80 percent of the total,” noted the head of the Moscow City Department for Competitive Policy.
Earlier, Sergey Sobyanin reported that supplier portal continues to expand its presence in the Russian regions. Since the beginning of 2026, customers from Kursk, the Jewish Autonomous Region, and Lipetsk Oblast, as well as from the Donetsk People’s Republic, have joined it. The number of connected regions has increased to 47. The total number of customers on the platform exceeds 60 thousand.
In the capital Department of Information Technology added that for the convenience of entrepreneurs, the supplier portal continuously improves the platform’s digital services for both experienced and novice users. To help entrepreneurs understand the portal’s functionality and gain practical experience in procurement participation, there is the “Supplier School” service. These are free training courses with detailed instructions on registration and adaptation on the portal, materials on electronic contract execution, and a simulator for participation in quotation sessions. Additionally, the supplier portal is flexibly customized to regional needs — business processes are optimized for them taking into account local legislation.
Supplier Portal was created in 2013 to automate small-volume procurement. It has established itself as an effective tool for connecting government customers and businesses. The list of goods, works, and services offered by entrepreneurs includes more than 3.6 million unique items. Over 1,500 contracts are concluded on the platform daily.
The functional customer of the portal is Department of Competitive Policy of the City of Moscow, and its technical development is supervised by the metropolitan Department of Information Technology.
