A medium-pressure gas pipeline approximately 1.5 kilometers long is being built in the Molzhaninovsky district. The work is taking place in a rural area. This was reported by in the urban economy complex of Moscow.
Over the course of a month, specialists completed more than half of the work. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2026.
A significant portion of the communications — 80 percent — is laid using trenchless methods to avoid large-scale excavations. The specialists at JSC “Mosgaz”, after studying the soil characteristics, settled on the method of horizontal directional drilling. It is optimally suited for this territory and allows for highly accurate installation on sections with complex trajectories.
Craftsmen use high-strength polyethylene pipes of Russian manufacture. All used materials have been tested for compliance with quality requirements. They are durable and resistant to various external influences.
JSC “Mosgaz” is steadily modernizing the capital’s gas supply system, paying attention also to rural areas. New facilities, including pipelines, are designed taking into account the prospective development of territories and with a certain power reserve. This approach guarantees the reliable operation of engineering networks for many decades.
