Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak held a meeting on the fuel market situation with representatives from the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the Ministry of Agriculture, and industry companies.

Within the meeting, the Ministry of Energy reported on the current situation in the petroleum products market, the balance of production and supplies, volumes of fuel imports, as well as on additional measures being implemented to ensure reliable fuel supply to consumers of all categories within the country.

Special attention was paid to the state of logistics chains and the formation of stocks of the main types of petroleum products – gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene.

The FAS presented information on the price situation in the petroleum products market by specific types of fuel and the pricing dynamics at the regional level. It was noted that active work is being carried out with all market participants to ensure an economically justified level of prices for petroleum products for consumers.

Industry companies reported on the progress of resource deliveries for the needs of the domestic market, including to support northern supplies and to carry out seasonal work by agricultural producers.

Alexander Novak instructed the relevant departments and oil companies to continue coordinating actions to maintain sustainable fuel supply to the regions, monitor the state of reserves, and ensure the uninterrupted operation of logistics infrastructure.
