State Fund for Supporting Participants of the Special Military Operation “Defenders of the Fatherland” expressed gratitude to the employees of the State University of Management for their contribution to the professional development of the Foundation’s specialists.
A letter of gratitude from the Deputy Chairman of the “Defenders of the Fatherland” Foundation, Alena Gavrilova, was sent to the Vice-Rector of the State University of Management, Maria Karelina, and the university team. It highlights the fruitful cooperation and the university’s work in improving the qualifications of the Foundation’s staff.
One of the important results of this cooperation was the remote educational program “Records management (documentation support of administration)“, which took place at the State University of Management from May to July 2026. More than 100 specialists from the clerical services of regional branches and the central office of the “Defenders of the Fatherland” foundation completed the training.
The program was focused on practical tasks that employees face in their daily work. Participants studied modern approaches to document flow management, systematization of work processes, and documentation support of the organization’s activities. For the Foundation, which provides targeted assistance to veterans of the special military operation and their families across the country, a clear organization of these processes is of particular importance.
A significant contribution to the development and implementation of the program was made by Anton Anferov, head of the Corporate Support Department at the State University of Management (GUM), and lecturer at the Department of State and Municipal Administration. The materials and methodological approaches he prepared helped program participants expand their professional competencies and develop unified approaches to executing work procedures.
The cooperation between GUU and the “Defenders of the Fatherland” foundation has been developing since the summer of 2025 and is not limited to employee training.
The university is involved in developing additional educational programs for participants of the Special Military Operation and their family members, training social coordinators, as well as conducting educational and career guidance events for veterans.
The primary goal of this work is to utilize the university’s educational opportunities for the professional development of the Foundation’s specialists and to support veterans in returning to civilian life, acquiring new competencies, and choosing their future professional path.
Collaboration will continue. In the near future, the plan is to hold a lecture for the staff of the Fund’s central office.“Business Letter”, as well as the development of new educational initiatives.
The gratitude expressed by the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation was a high recognition of the contribution of the employees of the State University of Management to this work and a confirmation of the demand for university expertise in solving practical problems.
