The renewal of the city’s transport payment infrastructure continues in Moscow. Four more modern fare payment terminals, developed by local specialists, have been installed at transport facilities. The new equipment will double the speed of passenger service.
As reported by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government, new terminals have appeared at Leningradsky railway station, as well as at the metro stations “Otradnoye” and “Nagatinskaya”.
“Following the assignment of Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, we are updating the payment infrastructure in transportation with a focus on Moscow developments. The new terminals feature a user-friendly menu and modern banking data protection systems. Approximately 2,000 units of equipment will be purchased in total, which will gradually replace machines that are reaching the end of their service life. This will simplify and speed up ticket purchases for passengers,” added Maxim Liksutov.

The first such terminals were previously installed at the VDNKh and Medvedkovo stations of the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya line, as well as at the Kuntsevskaya station of the Large Circle Line.
