Accompanied by the Moscow Festival Orchestra under the direction of artistic director and conductor Nikolai Khondzinsky, the poet’s verses will be read by Honored Artists of Russia Dmitry Dyuzhev and Alexey Vertkov, as well as theater and film actors Mark Bogatyrev and Anastasia Ukolova. Singer Alexandra Vorobyeva will perform the songs “Call me, call me,” “Ballad of Colors,” “Childhood City,” “Everything Begins with Love,” “Love Has Arrived.” The program will end with a poem recited by the author himself.
On August 26 at 8:00 PM, a concert will take place in the large amphitheater of Zaryadye Park “Interrupted Flight”, dedicated to the life and work of Vladimir Vysotsky and his contemporaries. Guests will hear the poet’s verses and works by other outstanding authors of the era. Visitors will learn about their creative interactions, how they inspired each other, and created their works.
The concert will feature Honored Artist of Russia Viktor Dobronravov, theater and film actor Daniil Strakhov, as well as the Selen Orchestra symphony under the baton of conductor Igor Kanurin. Honored Artist of Russia Zara will perform works by Vladimir Vysotsky, as well as Bulat Okudzhava, Robert Rozhdestvensky, and others.
The “Cultural City” festival is held as part of the “Summer in Moscow” project from August 1 to September 6 in Zaryadye Park.
