Sobyanin: The first summer season is coming to an end for 15 new-format water recreation areas

The first summer season for 15 water recreation zones is coming to an end in the capital of a new format. Sergey Sobyanin summed up its results.

“Four of them were made with pools: at the Golovinsky, Golyanovsky, Chernevsky (No. 2) ponds, and in the recreation area ‘Zarechye’ on the Desna in TiNAO. The first to be equipped according to the new standard was the Pionersky pond in Gorky Park in 2025,” Sergey Sobyanin reported.

In addition, in 2025, work was carried out at the Belovezhsky Pond in the Mozhaysky district. There, the pathways and lighting were renewed, park swings and loungers were installed by the water. Specialists created conditions for sports activities, placing outdoor exercise equipment and table tennis tables. Children’s playgrounds were modernized for young visitors.

In the Fili-Davydkovo area, during the improvement of Pionersky Park, the territory near Mazilovsky Pond was tidied up. The paths were repaired, new lamps and park furniture were installed, and the wooden balcony-platform was renovated. In addition, a stage was added near the pond for holding events.

“At Izyutinsky Pond in the Nagorny district, wooden decking with loungers has been arranged, comfortable park swings and benches have been placed. For fans of active recreation, a workout area with pull-up bars has been made,” noted the Mayor of Moscow.

In Novokosino, near Suzdal Pond, a wooden deck around the reservoir, park swings, and sun loungers have appeared. A workout zone was created for athletes and outdoor exercise machines were installed,
