Order dated August 20, 2026 No. 2219-r
More than 3.5 billion rubles have been allocated to ensure the stable operation of electric power facilities in the Belgorod and Kursk regions. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Funding is necessary to cover the costs of construction and reconstruction of high-voltage lines and substations. This includes the construction of the line from the “Oboyan” substation in the Kursk region to the “Rudnik” substation in the Belgorod region, along with the reconstruction of the “Rudnik” substation.
The decision will create conditions for uninterrupted electricity supply to the homes and apartments of citizens, as well as to schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and clinics in the two border regions.
The issue was considered at at the Government meeting on August 20.
