By the end of 2026, 10 more high-tech facilities will be commissioned in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. This was announced on his channel in in the messenger “Max” reported Sergey Sobyanin.
“‘Technopolis Moscow’ is a territory with a special legal status, where a preferential regime for entrepreneurial activity applies to investors. It was created 20 years ago, but its active development began in 2016. During this time, it has become the largest SEZ in Russia both by the volume of investments and by the area of operating enterprises,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

Residents of the SEZ are exempt from property, transport, and land taxes for 10 years from the moment they obtain resident status. Their profit tax rate is only two percent. A free customs zone regime and land lease benefits are in effect.
First place in the ranking of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia
In the ranking of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development for 2025, the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow” took first place among technical-implementation type sites. The final evaluation was composed of values from several calculated components, including the activities of residents, budget profitability, quality of management and planning, as well as contribution to achieving national development goals.
The metropolitan venue became the only one special economic zone in the country that achieved the maximum 100 percent efficiency both for the reporting year and for the entire period of operation.
Today, the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow” unites 10 sites located in various districts of the capital. Within its territory, fully functioning industrial clusters operate, bringing together enterprises from the same or related industries: pharmaceutical, electric vehicle manufacturing, elevator construction, photonics, and microelectronics.
Growth in production volumes and areas
At the same time, the SEZ is not only increasing production volumes but also expanding its territorial boundaries. Thus, in 2026, the total area increased by almost 10 percent — to 430 hectares. The expansion affected three key sites. “Pechatniki” grew by almost 17 hectares, reaching 54.7 hectares. “Rudnevo” added more than nine hectares and now occupies 62.3 hectares, while “Krasnaya Pakhra” increased by 14 hectares, up to 34.3 hectares. In the future, this will allow the creation of more than seven thousand new jobs and attract additional investments into the city’s economy.
In the first six months of 2026, 87.5 thousand square meters of industrial space were commissioned in the SEZ, all of which were developed with private investors’ funds.
A total of nearly 680 thousand square meters are planned to be put into operation in the SEZ territory in 2026. By the end of the year, 10 new facilities with a total area of about 593 thousand square meters will appear here.
Among the key projects to be completed by the end of the year are a karting center in the Rudnevo industrial park (a development and production center for karts), a modern printed circuit board and aircraft interior manufacturing facility (the scientific and production enterprise “Itelma”), a facility for the production of vital medicines (LLC “Welfarm-M”), a biotechnology pharmaceuticals plant (LLC “Artsellence”), and others.
