Muscovites with health conditions are invited to participate in competitions in pétanque, darts, mini-football, and swimming. They will take place on August 22 and 23 in different districts of the capital. Participation is free, but prior registration on the day of the event is required.
Thus, on August 22 from 11:00 to 15:00 at the sports equipment rental point “Kolomensky” located at Kolomensky proezd, building 14, block 1, the district competitions of the Moscow comprehensive inter-district Spartakiad “Sport Without Barriers” in petanque will begin. Participants can be Muscovites with disabilities over 18 years old. At registration, it will be necessary to provide an identity document, compulsory medical insurance policy, a medical and social examination certificate (MSE) or a medical and labor expert commission certificate (VTEK) or another document, as well as a collective or individual medical clearance. The competition format will be determined by the judging panel on the day of the event depending on the number of participants registered. You must also have sportswear and shoes with you.
On the same day, district competitions in darts and Nordic walking will be held in the Yauza Park on Molodtsova Street (building 27, block 3) from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. All adult residents of Moscow with health conditions of all nosologies are welcome to participate. The winner will be determined by the best result.
At the same time, city mini-football competitions for people with health conditions will be held in the park. Residents over 18 years old are invited to participate. Teams must consist of five people, regardless of gender. The winner will be determined by the number of victories in the games.
On August 23 from 09:30 to 11:30, district competitions of the Moscow comprehensive interdistrict spartakiad “Sport Without Barriers” in swimming are scheduled to be held at the Moscow Rowing Canal pool, located at 1 Ostrovnaya Street, Building 1. Adults with general illnesses can participate. The competitions are individual; the races are held over distances of 25 meters freestyle for women aged 18 to 30, 31 to 45, and 46 and older, and 50 meters freestyle for men aged 18 to 30 and 31 to 45. The winner is determined by the shortest time to complete the distance.
To register for the competitions at Yauza Park and at the Rowing Canal pool, you must have an identity document, a compulsory medical insurance policy, a certificate from the Medical and Social Expertise (MSE) or Military Medical Expertise Commission (VTEC) or another document, a certificate according to form No. 1144n, as well as a group or individual medical clearance. Sportswear and shoes are also required to participate.
The event is implemented by the capital city Department of Sports. They correspond to the goals of the state programs of the Russian Federation «Development of Physical Culture and Sports» and “Sport of Russia”. One of their tasks is to increase the proportion of citizens who regularly engage in physical culture and sports to 70 percent by 2030.
