Specialists Moscow urban infrastructure complex They will renovate a house built in the neoclassical style. The work will be carried out as part of the capital repair program for the housing stock. The building is located at: 23 Novy Arbat Street.

A six-story residential building was constructed in 1928 according to an individual project by architect Lev Lungin. The facades feature complex forms with decorative elements. For example, the facade facing the street is accented by entrance risalits topped with semicircular attics. The lower part of the risalit wall surfaces is rusticated. The building is adorned with bay windows and balconies. On the right side of the building, there is an arch for through passage. And on the main facade, one can see the crowning and inter-floor cornices.

To transform the building, the employees of the capital repair fund developed a unique project for the work implementation, as well as selected modern technologies and domestic materials.

Specialists have already begun repairing the facade and roof, as well as replacing the engineering systems. Open sections have been cleared and washed, then treated with antifungal agents. Restoration of decorative elements, renovation of entrance groups and balconies are underway. Craftsmen are replacing risers and main lines of central heating, cold and hot water supply, and laying a new electrical network.

By the color scheme, the facade will be painted in the historical colors “beige thorn” and “brown oak”.

In addition, it is planned to renovate the basement of the building and the drainage system, replace the roofing and battens on the roof, and insulate the attic with mineral wool boards. The wooden structures will be treated with a fire and bio-protective compound.
