A working visit was made by the Deputy Chairman of the Government – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev, to the Republic of Crimea with the purpose of studying the experience in protecting infrastructure facilities and strategic enterprises.
The trip included the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, Roman Alisenov, the governors of Khabarovsk Krai – Dmitry Demeshin, Magadan Oblast – Sergey Nosov, Amur Oblast – Vasily Orlov.
During the visit, participants familiarized themselves with territory defense principles, tactics, and technology of mobile fire units, and visited air defense control centers. Developments for repelling air attacks, patrolling territories, creating passive protection against drones, including deployment of complexes of energy-independent engineering and physical barriers that stop drones or dissipate the force of their explosion without using electronics or radio signals, were presented. The operation of mobile fire unit control centers and volunteer training were discussed.
Far Eastern governors, in turn, shared their developments within the framework of the TOR “Patriotic,” and talked about dual-use products produced by enterprises in the regions.
“We must make every effort to protect important infrastructure facilities, enterprises, and most importantly, ensure the preservation of people’s health and lives. The Crimean authorities have accumulated extensive experience in defending the territory and repelling enemy attacks. We will apply these skills and abilities in the Far Eastern regions,” said Yuri Trutnev.
Also, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Yuri Trutnev held a meeting with the command of the Eastern Military District, fighters of the BARS “Rubicon” volunteer formations, Far Eastern volunteers, and delivered equipment and gear to the fighters on the front line.
Equipment and gear from enterprises of the TOR “Patriotic” have been delivered to the frontline, including more than 1,500 FPV drones produced in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Zabaykalsky and Primorsky Krais, and Magadan Oblast. Air relay stations and heavy cargo multirotor UAVs “Spider-30” were also handed over. Additionally, robotic complexes, electric enduros, and snow-swamp vehicles from Yakut producers arrived at the frontline. The fighters received winding machines for spooling fiber optic cables to FPV drones, electronic warfare tools, ammunition for sniper rifles and smoothbore guns, and thermal imaging sights.
The “Patriotic” TOR is a set of state support measures for the production and supply of products for the needs of the special military operation, implemented since 2023. Special state support measures for manufacturers have been developed. The launched mechanism is aimed at supporting enterprises in the Far East that produce goods for the needs of the special military operation. Support has been provided to 28 military equipment and armament manufacturers. In the Far East, the following are produced for the needs of the special military operation: fixed-wing UAVs, FPV drones of various modifications and control kits, devices for detecting and suppressing UAVs, snow and swamp vehicles, all-terrain vehicles (buggies), repeaters, electronic warfare systems, ground robotic complexes “Courier”, electric enduro “Timir At”, thermal sights, bulletproof vests, mobile water purification trailer units, wheelchairs, high-tech prosthetics, hemostatic tourniquets. Within the framework of the “Patriotic” TOR, 65 thousand items have already been sent to the special military operation zone. In total, from 2023 to 2025, more than 607 thousand items have been supplied to the special operation zone from the regions of the Far East.
