The Government Commission on the Efficient Use of Federal Property and Territorial Development has approved the transfer of a new group of assets to DOM.RF. The company will take over land plots totaling 10 hectares across 11 Russian regions. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
“Involving federal lands and buildings in economic circulation is an important mechanism for territorial development and attracting private investments. The government commission has allocated the company “DOM.RF” an additional 10 hectares of land and more than 68,000 square meters of real estate in 11 regions. After completing all preliminary stages, the assets will appear in open auctions. For investors, these are ready sites for residential construction and commercial use. The list of lots also includes four cultural heritage sites in Moscow and the Saratov region, which will be restored by investors. It is important to continue working in this direction, as every square meter or hectare of land transferred into circulation represents new opportunities for cities and people,” said Marat Khusnullin.
Thus, in Moscow, investors will be offered buildings that make up an ensemble of an urban estate from the late 18th to early 19th century. In Pugachyov, Saratov region, two buildings from the complex of the Russian Trade and Industrial Bank, built in 1891, will be prepared for auction. Preferential financing is provided for restoration works.
“The decisions of the specialized government commission make it possible to expand the opportunities of regions and cities for the development of medium and small businesses, increase the pace of housing construction, and restore historical and architectural monuments. Their effect is obvious and tangible: improving the investment climate and the socio-economic situation of territories, enhancing the quality of the urban environment,” noted Denis Filippov, Deputy General Director of DOM.RF.
Among the lots prepared for auction is a 5.7-hectare plot in Severodvinsk, Arkhangelsk Oblast, where 46,000 sq. m of mid-rise housing is planned to be built. The commission also decided to transfer 1.42 hectares on Russky Island to the Vladivostok administration free of charge for the construction of road and street infrastructure.
