The Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry, representing the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas of India, is organizing a stand within the exhibition program of the international forum “Russian Energy Week,” which will take place from October 14 to 16 in Moscow at the venues of the Manege Central Exhibition Hall and Gostiny Dvor. The stand will feature projects from 8 leading companies in India’s oil sector. Russian Energy Week is held with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Energy of Russia, and the Moscow government. The forum organizer is the Roscongress Foundation.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, chairman of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the international forum “Russian Energy Week,” Alexander Novak emphasized that India is one of Russia’s key partners in energy. “Russia is interested in attracting Indian investments in the Russian oil and gas sector, as well as in developing a sales network involving Russian companies in India. The relations between the countries are of a strategic partnership nature, with the state leaders remaining in constant contact. Mutually beneficial cooperation within oil and gas projects is actively being promoted. The exhibition at REN-2026 will present to forum participants and guests all current and prospective projects, including those jointly implemented by the two countries,” noted Alexander Novak.

Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the international forum “Russian Energy Week,” Anton Kobyakov, emphasized that over the past decades, traditionally friendly Russian-Indian relations have been growing steadily. “The strategic partnership between Russia and India is especially evident in the energy sector: there is a stable interest from Indian companies in our technologies and resources, and joint projects serve as an example of mutually beneficial exchange. At the same time, it is important that the cooperation goes far beyond the bilateral track – Moscow and New Delhi actively coordinate their positions within BRICS and other integration groups. It is precisely this kind of multilateral cooperation that has special significance for shaping a sovereign multipolar world, where every country has space for independent development,” Anton Kobyakov stated.

India will become the first official partner country of the International Forum “Russian Energy Week” since its inception.
