Fuzhou, August 13 /Xinhua/ — 12 people were injured as a result of a ship fire at a shipyard in Fujian Province in eastern China, local authorities reported.
The fire occurred at around 13:09 on Thursday at the Century Huahai /Fujian/ Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. facility in the Gantang village of Fu’an city in this province.
At the moment, the fire is under control. According to preliminary data, the injured were hospitalized.
Emergency response personnel and medical workers arrived at the scene.
