Beijing, August 12 /Xinhua/ — Due to heavy rains on Wednesday, tourist sites in the Chinese capital were closed, shuttle bus services and construction work were suspended, and residents were evacuated from high-risk areas.
According to data, 151 tourist attractions and 157 campsites have been closed in Beijing, and the operation of more than 4,100 rural guesthouses has also been suspended.
