Team “Six Seven”
The XIV season of the International Engineering Championship CASE-IN, held with the support of the Presidential platform “Russia – Land of Opportunity,” has concluded.
In the field of “Architecture, design, construction, and housing and communal services,” it was required to develop a project for a seven-story building with an underground parking and commercial premises.
The “Six Seven” team, representing the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, took third place in this specialization. The team includes – Kirill Besedin, Polina Orlova, Olga Gavrichenkova, Daniel Oksanen, Lyubov Belogrivova, Kirill Ivanov and Anna Yarullina.
According to the championship experts, our students’ project has become a benchmark in the formation of residential environments and landscaping.
With a total residential complex area of more than 44,500 square meters and 247 apartments, the architects managed to create a cozy ecosystem. The concept includes not only standard playgrounds but also artificial ponds, pedestrian alleys, and specialized dog walking zones. The main building, of a complex shape, is integrated into a system of “quiet zones” for relaxation, providing a high level of privacy for residents.
“A special pride is our students: the Six Seven team won the bronze medal in competition with the strongest rivals. I wholeheartedly congratulate the guys and wish them new bright victories and creative successes!” noted the head of the Department of Construction Organization at SPbGASU, Candidate of Technical Sciences Roman Motylev.
The organizers of the CASE-IN championship are the Reliable Change Foundation, the Presidential Platform “Russia – Land of Opportunities,” the Non-Profit Partnership “Youth Forum of Mining Leaders,” and AstraLogica LLC. The international engineering championship CASE-IN is included in the initiative “Science to Win” and the Plan for the Decade of Science and Technologies, which is taking place in Russia from 2022 to 2031.
