From the transcript:
Dear friends!
I wholeheartedly congratulate the members of the All-Russian public movement “Medical Volunteers” on their 10th anniversary!
Over this decade, the “Medical Volunteers” have evolved from an initiative of caring students into the largest volunteer organization in the country, becoming a reliable support for domestic healthcare. Your activity is a vivid example of how a sincere desire to help people transforms into large-scale projects that save lives and strengthen the nation’s health. Today, the movement unites more than 200,000 volunteers working in 89 regional and 342 local branches.
You were there during the most difficult periods, including the years of the pandemic. Your dedication, resilience, and professionalism have been invaluable support for our doctors and patients. You did what you do best: you went where hands were needed and stayed as long as necessary.
Today you continue this important mission: helping veterans and participants of the special military operation, training people in first aid, promoting a healthy lifestyle and blood donation, conducting preventive measures, and providing support in medical organizations across the country.
Over 10 years, volunteer medics have dedicated more than 25 million hours to working in the country’s medical institutions.
You have carried out large-scale preventive work, reaching over 70 million people and organizing more than 93,000 events. Your contribution is significant in other areas as well. Thanks to you, the blood donor bank has grown by 126.5 tons. 72 thousand volunteers ensured safety at 19 thousand sports and mass events. And within the framework of the #GoodToTheVillage project, 255 thousand people in the most remote parts of our country received assistance.
Thank you for your work, kind hearts, and willingness to help all those in need!
Special thanks to your mentors and those who were at the origins of the movement. You are raising a new generation of medical professionals for whom mercy, compassion, and responsibility are not just words, but a way of life.
Dear volunteer medics, I wish you inexhaustible enthusiasm, professional success, well-being, and good health!
Happy holiday!
