In August, four KAMAZ-54902 semi-trailer trucks joined the fleet of the road construction company JSC “VAD”. The new generation K5 vehicles will be deployed at key road construction sites.

The new vehicles are designed for transporting bulk construction, industrial, and household cargoes, and can also be used as base carriers for various special equipment. The KAMAZ-54902 is equipped with a 390 hp engine, an automatic transmission, and is intended to operate in combination with dump and curtain-side semi-trailers. The vehicles added to the customer’s fleet feature high load capacity (up to 36 tons), reliable components, are equipped with sleeping berths, and have already proven their efficiency on the country’s largest federal highways.

The course towards technological sovereignty remains a priority for Russian companies: PJSC “KAMAZ” is developing and bringing to market in-demand models of automotive machinery for various sectors of the country’s economy, the company “VAD” is steadily increasing the share of domestic equipment in its vehicle fleet and actively participating in its modernization together with Russian manufacturers. Thus, as early as 2025, specialists from JSC “VAD” successfully tested prototype KAMAZ dump trucks at sites in the Leningrad region.

According to Yuri Tsvetkov, head of the production and technical complex of JSC “VAD”, experience in cooperation with domestic enterprises includes interaction with a number of road construction equipment manufacturers, among which is PJSC “KAMAZ”. JSC “VAD” prioritizes high quality, reliability, and comfortable working conditions for the company’s personnel.
