First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov made a working visit to the Yaroslavl region, where he visited a number of industrial enterprises and held a meeting with the region’s governor, Mikhail Yevrayev.

The First Deputy Prime Minister, accompanied by the head of the region and the mayor of Yaroslavl, Artem Molchanov, a candidate for the State Duma from the United Russia party, visited the Semibratovsky Gas Cleaning Equipment Plant (SGEP). Denis Manturov familiarized himself with the production of modern domestic equipment for industrial gas cleaning, used at enterprises in the key sectors of the Russian economy. Among the main types of products produced are various filters and other gas cleaning equipment. The First Deputy Prime Minister was presented with the company’s advanced technological developments in the field of deep industrial gas purification, aimed at comprehensive reduction of emissions of major pollutants. The main customers of SGEP are enterprises in the energy, coal, cement, metallurgical, and oil and gas industries. The equipment produced by the plant is used, among other things, in implementing measures to reduce emissions of pollutants into the atmospheric air in cities participating in the federal project “Clean Air” and allows, depending on the technology applied and operating conditions, to ensure an industrial gas purification degree of up to 99.97%. The development of proprietary technologies and the production of gas cleaning equipment on the territory of Russia contribute to reducing the industry’s dependence on imported environmental solutions and achieving technological sovereignty in the field of environmental engineering.

At the meeting, the First Deputy Prime Minister and the Governor of the Yaroslavl Region discussed the development of the region’s industrial potential.

“There are 5 industrial parks in the Yaroslavl region. At the same time, only one of them is included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. Based on the opportunities for state support from the Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, I propose to engage in this work. In this way, it will be possible to count on compensation for the costs of creating industrial infrastructure facilities, including for expanding the presence of residents,” said Denis Manturov.

“We are actively participating in all national projects and competitions for obtaining support measures, and a system of export support has been established in the region. Special thanks go to the program for increasing labor productivity,” said Mikhail Yevraev. “The effectiveness of the measures to increase labor productivity is confirmed by Yaroslavl industrialists, who have appreciated the achieved results. Scaling this experience to the entire regional industry will significantly increase the region’s competitiveness.”

The First Deputy Prime Minister also noted that, along with the teams of Yaroslavl enterprises during the trip, the implementation of corporate demographic programs was discussed, which are actively supported by the United Russia party. “Enterprises interested in supporting their teams and addressing demographic issues provide support to families and make payments not upon the actual birth, but upon confirmation of pregnancy. Moreover, this can be a man working at the enterprise (in case his wife is pregnant), or a woman – an employee of the enterprise. This has already become a good, positive movement in large industrial enterprises, with corresponding payments being established at many of them,” he emphasized.

In recent years, the industry of the Yaroslavl region has demonstrated stable dynamics. The industrial production index of the region for the first half of 2026 was 102.4%, which exceeds the average figure for Russia.

Since 2015, the Federal Industrial Development Fund has financed over 40 projects in the Yaroslavl region, providing more than 26 billion rubles in concessional loans to the region’s manufacturing sector. Total investments in these projects exceed 40 billion rubles. In terms of concessional loan volume, the region ranks in the top 5 among the regions of the Central Federal District.
