China’s foreign trade turnover increased by 19.2 percent in July 2026 /detailed version-1/

Beijing, August 7 /Xinhua/ — In July 2026, the total volume of China’s goods imports and exports in yuan terms increased by 19.2 percent year-on-year. This is evidenced by data published on Friday by the General Administration of Customs (GAC) of the PRC.

The total value of goods imports and exports reached 4.66 trillion yuan / approximately 686.26 billion USD / during the reporting period. The data showed that this figure stayed above 4 trillion yuan for five consecutive months. In particular, exports grew by 17.8 percent year-on-year, while imports rose by 21.2 percent.

In the first seven months of the current year, the total volume of China’s foreign trade in goods amounted to 30.13 trillion yuan, which is 17.3 percent more than in the same period last year.

The export of high-tech products, including industrial robots and 3D printers, surged by more than 50 percent year-on-year in July this year, exceeding the 39 percent growth recorded in the first half of 2026. -0-
