First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov held a meeting of the Government Commission on Industry. The event was attended by the heads of the Ministry of Industry and Trade – Anton Alikhanov, the Ministry of Transport – Andrey Nikitin, the Ministry of Construction – Irek Faizullin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy Andrey Kutepov, as well as representatives of federal executive bodies and industry organizations.

The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade reported on the resource and infrastructure support in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, oil and gas engineering, gas turbine engine manufacturing, aviation and automotive industries, shipbuilding, and the chemical industry.

Special attention was given by the meeting participants to the implementation of investment projects in the chemical industry. As Anton Alikhanov noted, a national regulation on chemical products has been approved in the industry, which will allow tracking of chemicals and mixtures circulating in the market.

“The regulation will come into force in September next year. It covers about 85 thousand substances, and its requirements will be implemented gradually, starting from September 2028. We thank our colleagues from the Ministry of Economic Development for their productive cooperation during the development,” the minister said.

In addition, members of the government commission heard reports on the contributions of the state corporations “Rostec,” “Roscosmos,” and “Rosatom” to achieving the national development goals of the Russian Federation.
