Beijing, August 6 /Xinhua/ — The Chinese side is open to strengthening dialogue and communication with law enforcement agencies of the United States. This was stated on Thursday by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Lin Jian.
Lin Jian made the relevant statement in response to remarks by FBI Director Cash Patel, who expressed hope for cooperation with China and Russia in combating transnational crime and noted that such a model of cooperation in law enforcement is applicable to almost all countries.
“We are ready to continue establishing cooperation with the American side in the law enforcement sphere, guided by the spirit of equality, respect, and mutual benefit,” the Chinese diplomat stated.
