The government commission on enhancing the efficiency of federal property use and territorial development approved the transfer of new assets to the management of “DOM.RF”: land plots with a total area of about 16.5 hectares and real estate objects with a total area of over 20.5 thousand square meters. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
“Comprehensive territory renewal is one of the priority tasks of Russia’s construction complex, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this week. By consistently involving federal land plots and real estate objects into economic circulation, the Government creates additional growth points for regions and opportunities for business. The assets transferred to ‘DOM.RF’ consist of more than 16 hectares of land and 20 thousand square meters of real estate in 11 regions, which, after all preliminary procedures are completed, will be sold through auctions. Investors will gain access to sites for residential development and commercial infrastructure construction. In addition, the lot includes two monuments of history and architecture, which will be handed over to investors for restoration,” said Marat Khusnullin.
This concerns cultural heritage sites in the Moscow and Tomsk regions. In the town of Ozyory near Moscow, the outbuilding of the Sennitsy estate, built in the 18th–19th centuries, will be put up for auction. In Tomsk, there is a two-story wooden residential house from the early last century, located on Karl Marx Street.
“The activities of the government commission help to involve various sites in circulation and put them up for auction by DOM.RF, where later residential neighborhoods, new commercial enterprises, and restored historical buildings appear. This comprehensive work allows entire cities and territories to be renewed, the quality of the urban environment to be improved, and socio-economic challenges of the regions to be addressed,” noted Denis Filippov, Deputy General Director of DOM.RF.
Among the lots to be auctioned are plots with a total area of about 3.5 hectares in the Trans-Baikal and Kamchatka Krais, Voronezh Region, and Saint Petersburg for the construction of a total of 11.4 thousand square meters of housing.
