Resident special economic zone The Moscow Technopolis Special Economic Zone (SEZ) has increased production of large reinforced concrete modules used in the construction of residential buildings, social facilities, and administrative buildings. Production volume has grown 2.5 times—from four to 10 units per day. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. Maxim Liksutov.

“By the order of Sergey Sobyanin, favorable conditions have been created in the city to promote the development of manufacturing and attract investments to Moscow’s industry. A resident of the capital’s SEZ has increased production of unique large-sized residential modules, each with an area of up to 100 square meters. The plant’s capacity allows for the manufacture of up to 450 thousand square meters of such products annually. Increasing volumes directly affects the pace of housing and social infrastructure construction in the city. Modular construction technology shortens the time for building facilities and improves the quality of finished structures,” said Maxim Liksutov.

The production of large-sized reinforced concrete modules is carried out by the company “Innovative Technologies Plant — Monarch.” The factory performs a full range of work for creating building blocks — from assembling the supporting frame to installing facades and window units, laying engineering communications, and finishing. The design of the products allows for the planning of apartments with open layouts and the creation of various architectural solutions for facades.

The company’s products are used in the implementation of urban projects. For example, two residential buildings were constructed using large-sized modules at renovation program in the area Cheremushki. Using this technology, they also constructed a kindergarten for 300 children in Izmaylovo and the administration building of the Filimonkovsky district.

The special economic zone “Technopolis Moscow” is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026 since its founding. Over two decades, it has transformed from a launchpad for innovative projects into a key hub of domestic industry and a magnet for companies defining Russia’s technological sovereignty. Today, across 10 sites of the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow” covering a total area of 430 hectares, the production of over 240 high-tech enterprises is localized, representing strategic fields such as microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT, and robotics.
