Minsk, July 30 /Xinhua/ — A ceremonial event dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 99th anniversary of the establishment of the People’s Liberation Army of China took place on Wednesday in Minsk at the Chinese Embassy.
The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the PRC to Belarus, Zhang Wenchuan, noted that the CPC, leading the Chinese people, founded the PRC, achieved national independence and the liberation of the people, completed the socialist revolution, carried out reforms and opening up, and successfully formulated a development path that corresponds to the national characteristics of China.

He particularly noted that the PLA, having gone through a glorious 99-year history, has always been closely united with the CPC and the Chinese people, and has accomplished immortal feats for the liberation of the people, the country’s independence, and the nation’s revival. Additionally, the ambassador pointed out that under the strategic leadership of the leaders of the two countries, Belarus-China relations have withstood the tests of international turbulence and entered the best period in their history.
During the event, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov noted that over its more than century-long history, the CPC has proven that it is precisely the solid foundational values, strategic vision, and unity of the people that enable the PRC to confidently move forward, overcoming any challenges.
“Today, the whole world is closely watching how China confidently pursues the course of comprehensively building a strong modern socialist state,” emphasized N. Snopkov, adding that thanks to the strategic leadership of the leaders of the two countries, Belarus-China relations are developing consistently and serve as a model of mutual trust, respect, and support.
