Urumqi, July 30 /Xinhua/ — From January to June 2026, 1,709 vehicles carrying wind power equipment exported from China passed through the Horgos land border crossing in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR), Northwest China, marking a 44.3% increase compared to the same period last year and setting a record high. This is according to data from Horgos Customs.
It is reported that during the reporting period, the volume of exports of oversized wind power equipment through the above-mentioned checkpoint has significantly increased, with shipments of blades for wind turbines, generator sets, and other oversized equipment being delivered to Central Asian countries such as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to support the implementation of local wind power projects.

According to a report from one of the Xinjiang freight companies, the significant reduction in customs clearance and equipment delivery times to project implementation sites contributes to a substantial increase in the number of orders from Central Asian countries.
