For example, in the capital of the LPR, a major overhaul of the educational building of the Lugansk College of Auto Service has begun, reported Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
“Over 70 years of operation of the Luhansk Auto Service College – the same amount of time as we celebrate Builder’s Day – more than 60 thousand graduates have come from its walls, trained in important technical profiles for the construction industry: crane operators, auto mechanics, welders. After the major overhaul of the infrastructure, programs in new fields of study are expected to launch. It will be possible to train finishers, plasterers, painters there. The renovated college building in Luhansk will be able to accommodate more than 700 students in total,” the deputy prime minister said.
Marat Khusnullin added that from September 1, 800 future medical students of the Torez Medical College, where similar renovation works were carried out in the academic building, will begin their studies.
“Bringing educational institutions up to modern standards is not only a construction task, but also a contribution to the formation of the regions’ human resource potential, on which their further development depends,” noted the Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services Almaz Khusainov.
The repair of the Luhansk College of Auto Service is being carried out under the supervision of specialists from the JSC “Unified Customer in the Field of Construction”.
“In the educational building with an area of 2.4 thousand square meters, builders will need to reinforce the load-bearing structures and walls, replace the roof, windows, and engineering systems, as well as renovate all classrooms and administrative offices. The completion of the repair work is planned for 2027,” clarified Karen Oganesyan, General Director of the “Single Customer.”
